Authentication

It is the process where in the document – Birth / Marriage / Educational etc is authenticated by the Public foreigners Department of the State Of Issue of the department after due verification to be sure that the document is GENUINE and not FAKE

The documents are authenticated by the Under Secretary, Regional Commissioner, Sub Divisional Magistrate.

MEA / MEA Apostle

Once the document is Authenticated, then it is take up for Attestation by the Ministry of External Affairs. Either the document is MEA Attested or MEA Apostle attested, which depends on the country of Travel

Foreign Embassy Legalization

The document after completion of the State Home Authentication and attestation by the Ministry of External Affairs is taken up for Legalization from the Embassy / Consulate of the country of Travel. For every country the legalization process is different.

Chamber of Commerce

Commercial documents of the company are attested by the Chamber of Commerce where in the company is registered with the chamber. After which it is attested by the Ministry of External Affairs.

Translation of Documents

Various embassies / consulates require that the documents are translated in to their local language for visa processing

Notarization

Document carrying authenticated signature(s) of the person(s) authorized or required to sign it, and the signature of a notary public witnessing the signature(s), accompanied by an impression of his or her official notary seal. A notarized document is not necessarily a certified document.
